all the while, i was not supportive enough in all the events organized by ADSA.
maybe the purpose for me to join the event was not to support the events but for some other reasons.
until im in the ADSA committees, my mindset changed.
it's not easy to be the committees in an association.
we will have endless meeting, we need to sacrifice our own time to plan for the events, we ................................... etc etc etc
all these works ain't easy.
and now im guilty that im not in the right way to be in ADSA or as a dental student.
we always take things for granted, especially on something which someone did for us.
we forget to be thankful.
we tend to have the mindset that "they're supposed to do so." "these are their works."
we use to blame.
what came to my mind were,
"if the event planned by ADSA dont even get the supports from the dental students, then who will support the event?"
"as a dental student, if you dont even support any single event by ADSA, then probably you will never understand the purpose of the event to be organized. and at the end of the day when you graduate, your life in the university will be plain paper except for you academic and some lives with your friends."
i told to my friends that i will not want to be in the ADSA committees again for next year as the jobs in ADSA aint an easy thing.
now, i regretted.
If i as a dental student, i dont even support ADSA then who else will support ADSA?
If i as a dental student, i dont even take up the responsibilities to uphold ADSA then who will do so?
No matter how tired i am, i should never give up or say no!
Because the only way i can show my gratitude to ADSA is to be supportive.
ps: ADSA is AIMST DENTAL STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION
